The New York Proton Center

New York’s very first proton treatment center opened in 2019 in East Harlem. Millwrights from Local Union 740 of the New York City District Council of Carpenters, working with Bay Crane, did the critical alignments with an unparalleled level of precision for this cutting-edge cancer treatment facility. Union contractors also worked on the drywall, interiors, and furniture installation for this project. Contractors on this project include Island Acoustics, J D’Annunzio & Sons Inc., Ari Products Inc., Permadur Industries Inc., American Wood Installers, Consolidated Carpet, Advanced Scaffold Services, Bay Crane Service, Horizon Contracting, National Furniture Installer, and Wood Pro 2 Installers.

NYC District Council of Carpenters Volunteers – Rebuilding Puerto Rico
